Jonathan & Randi – Downtown Cookeville Couple’s Session

Randi and Jonathan are an adorable Cookeville power couple – Randi runs a successful Wedding Attire and Makeup business with her mother and serves hundreds of clients a year there in addition to having her own Wedding Planning business.  Her husband Jonathan is a commercial airline pilot. Together they have remodeled a home in Cookeville and have adopted an adorable kitty since their marriage three years ago. So, when they mentioned needing new fresh photos of themselves as part of an annual tradition, we couldn’t wait to spend time with them (more than the 5 min we’d see each other at

Dan & Sandi – Couple’s Session

This session was one of the most memorable because THESE TWO are so memorable. Sandi was actually my elementary school principal when I was young. I also knew her due to her family living next door to my grandparents. So, you could say I’ve known her my whole life 🙂 Dan is a phenomenal real estate agent in town. Though they didn’t begin dating until later in life, they absolutely positively couldn’t be more perfect for each other. These two began traveling the world together early on in their relationship, so it was only fitting that they would get married overseas

2016 Year in Review

2016 was a great year in our world. We met a lot of our personal and business goals (not all of them, of course, because, life) and we had a steady stream of sessions and weddings that kept us on our toes in the best of ways. We are finally getting the hang of scheduling time off (and by we, I mean me, Lindsay) and we had plenty of time to live our own lives in addition to documenting some amazingly wonderful ones. I know I say it every year, but we are truly blessed by our clients – being

Megan & Joey – Anniversary Session

We met Megan when she was a bridesmaid in this wedding. Little did we know that Megan and Joey had been married for three years and had NEVER had professional photos done of themselves as a couple. Say what? I’m talking no professional engagement OR wedding photos. Just snaps here and there, but nothing formal. So, when we did our instagram giveaway and drawing, and the piece of paper with her name on it got wedged underneath my fingernail for me to easily choose, I actually had no idea just how deserving she was of this session. As we started chatting more,

Kaysee & Josh

We came to know Kaysee several years ago when we were neighbors. She expressed an interest in photography and we began chatting about it every time we’d see each other. She was always so complimentary – she followed the blog and always left sweet comments on new photos.  When she got engaged, we were so happy for her – Josh seemed like a great guy and we would happily chat about their plans and such. Although we weren’t able to shoot their wedding, we did have something in common – our wedding date! They got married on our 5-year anniversary.

{Cindy & Roger}

Cindy received a gift certificate from her lovely daughter as a birthday gift, and now that spring has bloomed, it was a perfect time for some photos. Cindy chose to bring her love, Roger, along with her for some fun couples photos. We had an amazing time with this set and it was obvious that this couple was head over heels in love with each other. What a joy it was to see the happiness they share! Enjoy!

{Best of 2010 ~ Weddings and Couples}

Have I mentioned I love weddings? I am a sucker for not only the actual wedding but also for the love and hope that couples have as they journey toward the union of husband and wife. 2010 was a great year as I was introduced to several beautiful love stories and made lasting friendships with all of my couples. Here are my favorites photos to highlight the year…
