This couple. I mean, where do I start?! Many times, we are contacted by a bride about photographing her day. This time, though, we were contacted by Ryan. Mostly it was unique because he wanted us to photograph his proposal to Paige. Um, can we please do this ALL the time? So much fun! Anyway, after that magical night when she (obviously) said YES, we began to learn more about this couple, their strong faith and their devotion to all things good in the world. Their engagement session was beautiful, but their wedding day is what we’re here to share today!
On a chili and rainy December day, we arrived to see a nervous but beaming Paige, and the barn at The Wren’s Nest was already coming together with gorgeous decor. Ryan and his fellas played video games until it was time to get dressed, and then it was time to see his bride. During their first look, she paused for more than a second before tapping him on the shoulder. Maybe it was the nerves, maybe it was a silent prayer, or maybe she was just messing with him, but there was a story in just that small moment that tells so much about this couple. They take marriage seriously, and they are dedicated to love one another deeply and with purpose. We love that. And we love these two. Here are some favorite shots from their precious day.
