Brandi ~ Senior

Brandi just graduated from Cookeville High School a few weeks ago, and it’s time to show off some of her senior portraits. She is a super student with a sweet countenance and a passion in her spirit. She sings like an angel and such has a brightness about her when she’s around that she lights up people around her. Brandon and I have been honored to get to know her through Sunday School, and I was honored to do some portraits of her in honor of her senior year in high school. Here are a few favorites from the afternoon

{The Best of 2011 ~ Portraits}

So, I realize it’s halfway through February and that I’m a tad late on my “best of” posts. But better late than never, right? Well, here goes!   I didn’t think it was possible to have even more fun than we did in 2010, but 2011 proved me wrong. Brandon and I met even more amazing families, babies and seniors in ’11 and we were seriously so blessed to create such fun and memorable photos for our new friends.   We had more sessions than any prior year, and worked our cameras hard to keep up with everyone. It was wonderful, beautiful and moving…but it left one problem: she had a gorgeous dress just sitting in the closet. So, that in mind, we discussed having a bridal session. She was eager but wanted her groom there also. So we made

{Josh & Katie ~ Newlyweds}

You may remember Josh and Katie from their recent wedding day post. They were married Sept. 11 and we had discussed doing some more relaxed and fun portraits of them at a later time rather than trying to fit it all in on their wedding day. They enthusiastically agreed, so here are the photos from their “newlywed” session. Aren’t they adorable?

{Caroline and Daisy}

Caroline spends her free time at Circle K Horse Pavilion. She has a beautiful pony named Daisy. Her mom and I have been attempting to plan a time to take some photos, and just as the leave started changing, we finally made it out! It’s a beautiful place and since I’ve photographed horses before, I was super excited to go out and get my “boots” dusty again. Here are a few of my favorites from our day at the ranch. Enjoy.

{Troy}

Troy works at a local radio station. He’s a super nice guy and a great DJ also! Recently he told me he wanted some updated headshots, so after the studio session, we took an afternoon stroll downtown and got some great results. Here are my favorites 🙂
