Brandi ~ Senior

Brandi just graduated from Cookeville High School a few weeks ago, and it’s time to show off some of her senior portraits. She is a super student with a sweet countenance and a passion in her spirit. She sings like an angel and such has a brightness about her when she’s around that she lights up people around her. Brandon and I have been honored to get to know her through Sunday School, and I was honored to do some portraits of her in honor of her senior year in high school. {The Best of 2011 ~ Portraits}

So, I realize it’s halfway through February and that I’m a tad late on my “best of” posts. But better late than never, right? Well, here goes! I didn’t think it was possible to have even more fun than we did in 2010, but 2011 proved me wrong. Brandon and I met even more amazing families, babies and seniors in ’11 and we were seriously so blessed to create such fun and memorable photos for our new friends. We had more sessions than any prior year, and worked our cameras hard to keep up with everyone. But man,

Blythe’s mom called me to schedule her daughter’s senior photos, and told me this session would be a bit “different.” You see, Blythe shows cattle, and has won many prizes in doing so, so they wanted some shots of her with her cows. I was immediately excited because I always love shooting on farms, and this sounded like a very interesting session. On the day we had scheduled for photos the sky was grey, it was cold, and the rain was looming. Nonetheless, we traveled to Crossville and poor Blythe braved the cold and misty rain that had started and

{Staci ~ Senior}

Staci – what a cutie pie! I really love working with seniors, and Staci didn’t disappoint. She had such a beautiful radiance about her. Plus, she’s a gymnast, so automatically I felt like I knew her. Us gymnasts gotta stick together (even if I am an old has-been)!! She recently had surgery for an ankle injury, but she still was willing to tromp around the railroad tracks, creek and field. She even did some handstands for me 🙂 What a trooper! I hope you guys love these shots of her – I sure do! One of my favorite senior shots

{B.J. ~ Senior}

BJ is a senior at Cookeville High. He’s quite an athlete as well. He excelled in both football and lacrosse during his time at CHS and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young man. Since spring has sprung and we finally have pleasant enough weather to be outside, we scheduled BJ’s senior session and had a blast last weekend capturing these shots. Here’s the preview – isn’t he a cool dude?!
