{Little Samuel}

I met Samuel when I did his very first baby pictures last July. He was an absolute doll baby. Here’s the proof: So when Samuel’s mom contacted me for another session, I was excited to see this little guy again! It always baffles me how quickly my clients’ babies grow, and this one was no exception. Samuel is over a year old now, which means he is a very mobile young man! This dude was running all over and had no interest in me or my camera. But then again, I’d be crazy to expect otherwise from a young toddler

{Grace ~ the Dancer}

Grace is an absolutely beautiful young lady – inside and out! She is, as you can tell, a dancer. She and I have been discussing doing some outdoor portraits of her, and I was stoked to do them! Here are a few of my favorites…

{Staci ~ Senior}

Staci – what a cutie pie! I really love working with seniors, and Staci didn’t disappoint. She had such a beautiful radiance about her. Plus, she’s a gymnast, so automatically I felt like I knew her. Us gymnasts gotta stick together (even if I am an old has-been)!! She recently had surgery for an ankle injury, but she still was willing to tromp around the railroad tracks, creek and field. She even did some handstands for me 🙂 What a trooper! I hope you guys love these shots of her – I sure do! One of my favorite senior shots

{Baby Violet ~ Newborn}

Baby Violet was one of the teeniest babies, and such a sweetie! I met Jill, Ben and Violet at their lovely home for some newborn portraits when this little one was just 11 days old, and I truly enjoyed their session. You can see just how well she slept for me, and just how much her parents are smitten with her! Here are a few of my favorites from the day. {Lauren & Landon ~ Wedding}

Lauren and Landon’s wedding in Crab Orchard, TN was a beautiful one. The weather was perfect and this couple just melts your heart when you see the way they look at each other. Brandon and I had an absolute blast capturing their day, not to mention the crazy fun dance floor! It may be the liveliest yet! Here’s a sneak peek of their day. Danielle started off her senior portrait session telling me she was “super shy.” She’s a beautiful young lady and she was willing to follow my lead the whole day, but I knew I had to break her of this shy spell. After just a little while she started letting loose and giving me a great smile, and we had a very fun time! It was a gorgeous day, so we played with the flowers and the golden sunlight, giving for some great shots of this pretty girl. Enjoy your preview!

{Steven & Alicia ~ Wedding}

Steven and Alicia’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. It was a hot summer day with beautiful weather and friends and family sharing in celebration of the love these two share. The wedding was at a family farm and Alicia and her girlfriends did such a magnificent job with all the little hand-crafted touches. From her brooch-bouquet to the hand-made paper pinwheels, it was adorable and sweet. Brandon and I were so glad we could be there to capture so many cute details and beautiful emotions. {Lauren & Mark ~ Engaged}

Lauren and Mark got engaged this January, and they are such a sweet couple. We met with them about their wedding photography and you could just see the sparkle in both their eyes. We are so excited to be working with them, and their engagement session did not disappoint. It was a hot day for photos, but they were both troopers – wading in creeks, tromping in fields, and dancing on rooftops. It was so fun getting to know this couple more, and we are looking forward to their September wedding. Enjoy this little sneak peek from last week’s session:

The location was amazing, so much beautiful land – like a state park. But the best part about the day was this couple. They are obviously super in love, and they have a sweet innocence about them that I absolutely adore. We cannot wait to see them say their vows on their wedding day!
