Caitlyn & Ben – Rustic and Elegant Fall Wedding in the Heart of Cookeville, Tennessee

A girl from Tennessee and a boy from South Carolina met in Colorado. She was a nurse, he was in the military. It must have been fate, because they’re a truly perfect match. Their wedding day wasn’t like all the rest. Sure, it followed the routine of a normal wedding day, but what this one had sprinkled all throughout, was personality. Caitlyn and her family are fun-loving and very close knit. Ben and his groomsmen were all military special forces, so you’d think there would be little emotion…and you’d be wrong. This couple and their families and friends shed more

The trees like to show off with color and the grounds are pretty everywhere you go. With elegance stepped up a notch, Stacie paired lace and roses with chandeliers

Katie & Josh – Cozy Rainy Fall Engagement Session in Gainesboro, Tennessee

It was time to leave for the session, but we were on the phone with our clients who we should be meeting in only 45 minutes. The weather had tricked us and turned into rain at the last minute. As we each looked at our calendars to reschedule, suddenly, she said “If it won’t hurt your cameras, let’s just do them in the rain!”  Our cameras are weather sealed, we had a clear umbrella, and so we put our boots on and out we went, in the dreary, cool fall weather that decided to arrive just a day too soon.

Anna & Blake – Sweet Family Farm Fall Wedding in Carthage, Tennessee

Anna and Blake’s wedding day was one of the smoothest, most laid back we’ve ever seen. As you can imagine, this made some people very happy (photographers included). Because Anna has known us for several years, she completely trusted us, and Blake had no hesitations either – even if photos aren’t his thing 🙂 We had a perfect day with the leaves just thinking about changing, and the overcast sky brought a low wind which cooled things down to remind us it was fall. Brandon and I joked that we each had the easier of the groups, but truth be

Amanda and TJ may have taken longer than they liked to find each other, but they’re certainly making up for lost time now. Amanda & Chandler – Sentimental Hometown Engagement Session in Cookeville, Tennessee

Brandon has been friends with Chandler longer than I’ve even known him. Chandler and his family have always been so good to Brandon, and to me as well. We’ve loved our friendship with him and have watched him and walked beside him through some highs and a lot of lows. When Chandler met Amanda, we were so excited to hear about her. But after Chandler was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor and had surgery to remove it, we really saw Amanda in action. She was so devoted and caring, always by his side and there for every step of

Caroline & John – Intimate Fall Wedding at Evins Mills in Smithville, Tennessee

John and Caroline’s wedding day was so perfect and so them. Neither enjoy the spotlight so they were both nervous when we arrived. But all we had to do to soothe one of them was to mention the other one (or the Titans) and they instantly smiled. Since they’re huge Titans fans and never miss a home game, John proposed at a recent game AND got them onto the field for the national anthem. To everyone’s surprise, they did manage to miss a home game for their Sunday wedding, but I heard rumors that some of the fellas had the

Stacie & Trey – Summer Downtown Knoxville City Engagement

Stacie & Trey travelled from their home in Atlanta all the way to Knoxville for their engagement session because of the special place the downtown area holds in their hearts. Their story began while students at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and though they didn’t immediately hit it off, (and because Trey didn’t reply to Stacie’s message for an entire year!!), they sure have made up for it since. Last Christmas, Trey took Stacie back to the scene of their first encounter. This time, he was prepared with a plan to woo her into becoming his wife. They went

Allison and Jonathan (“Nonnie”) have been together for years. They have, in a way, grown into adulthood together. Their love goes way back and it’s been tested and has stood true.
