Erin and Matt’s wedding day was so so perfect. I know I say good things about every wedding, but this one was even more special for us since Erin is Brandon’s sister. The day started with Erin, her maid of honor and her mother getting hair and makeup done. I love this portion of the day because there is so much anticipation and excitement in the room.
Then we headed to the Tulip Grove Mansion at the Hermitage in Nashville to get ready for portraits before the ceremony. Beautiful location! Erin and Matt opted for a first look and it was super sweet. You could tell the stress just melted away when they finally got to see each other, hug, and talk for a few moments.
We loved being a part of such a special and happy time for a loved one. I must admit, it was a little weird being in some of the family formals, because we’re used to being on the back side of the camera, but how wonderful it was to be able to capture their day for them. Also, special thanks to Sara who came along as our awesome assistant AND photobooth photographer.

This shot was not directed. We simply happened to be shooting Matt outside when Erin decided to come onto the balcony.

The first look…always a sweet moment.
Erin’s mom is undergoing treatment for cancer, so Erin hid a pink rose in her bouquet as a surprise. 
Remember the surprise pink rose? This was when she delivered it. So heart-warming and beautiful.
Their wedding fell on the night of the Harvest Moon.
