We came to know Kaysee several years ago when we were neighbors. She expressed an interest in photography and we began chatting about it every time we’d see each other. She was always so complimentary – she followed the blog and always left sweet comments on new photos. When she got engaged, we were so happy for her – Josh seemed like a great guy and we would happily chat about their plans and such. Although we weren’t able to shoot their wedding, we did have something in common – our wedding date! They got married on our 5-year anniversary.

Kelsey & Jesse’s engagement session was so fun. This couple is super adorable, and I tell you, the way they look at each other – so so sweet. Since Jesse is a darn-good guitar player and Kelsey is a country girl who loves the city, we decided to have a Nashville session. Carrie and Cameron are super fun to be around. When we first started talking, we instantly found connections and just clicked with them. AJ & Johnny’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a gorgeous fall day with pops of orange and yellow, and this sweet couple had long awaited their moment. We met Kali & Grant at Kali’s parents’ home in Hendersonville for their engagement session. This couple lives and works out of state, so most of our communication had been done via skype and email, and although we hadn’t met them in person until the day of the session, we already knew we loved them. Grant and Kali are planning their wedding at Rock Castle in September, and after spending such a fun day with them shooting engagement photos, we can’t wait to hang out with them more on the wedding day. Alicia and Matthew’s engagement session last fall was so much fun. This couple not only loves watching movies together and going to the drive-in, but they also hunt together. Megan & Ryan ~ Wedding Day

Megan and Ryan got married at Lakeside last fall. The morning started with freezing temperatures and the forecast of rain, but as we arrived, the sun decided to shine on this sweet couple, so out it came, and with it came the warmth. It became an absolutely beautiful day – even if it was freezing cold. Their ceremony was precious, complete with tears as well as laughter. Emily & Brad ~ Engaged

We met Emily and Brad at a wedding we photographed last year. Emily was a super fun bridesmaid. Emily and I were both gymnasts at the University of Kentucky, and although she didn’t come on the team until I was gone, I still felt like I knew her, and we had so much fun photographing her and her crew at last year’s wedding, so I was super excited when she asked us to be her photographers! Emily has a great laugh and super gorgeous blue eyes. She is super fun to be around, which magnifies when she’s with her man.
