We met Erin through a mutual photographer friend and even from our first ‘meeting’ (which was over skype) we just knew we loved her. She’s fun-loving and has an amazing personality. Justin and Beth were the sweet couple we met in Chattanooga for some engagement photos a few months ago. Their wedding was held in Cookeville at the First Presbyterian Church and it was one of the most calm and sweet days we’ve seen. Brandi ~ Senior

Brandi just graduated from Cookeville High School a few weeks ago, and it’s time to show off some of her senior portraits. She is a super student with a sweet countenance and a passion in her spirit. She sings like an angel and such has a brightness about her when she’s around that she lights up people around her. Brandon and I have been honored to get to know her through Sunday School, and I was honored to do some portraits of her in honor of her senior year in high school. Andrea and Caleb ~ Newlyweds

Andrea and Caleb are one of the sweetest and most devoted couples you’ll meet. They were married in March on the day after the tornadoes and cold front swept through middle Tennessee. Hunkered in Del Monaco Winery waiting for the storm to pass during their rehearsal, I can only imagine what poor Andrea was thinking about how her wedding day might be. But the next day the sky, cool as it was, turned back to blue, and inside that beautiful room with candles all around them, these two said their vows and celebrated with friends. Little Jacob

Recently I headed to Crossville for some one-year photos of a cute little man, Jacob, and his mom Traci. Although it was during a cold snap, they were troopers and Jacob did a great job. Just look at all those smiles! Tracis family owns the Rowell Apple House – an orchard that used to have a motel on it. It’s a super cool location and we had a lot of fun with this mother-son duo. Beth & Justin ~ Engaged

Beth and Justin met us in the beautiful city of Chattanooga for their engagement session. The weather was splendid and we had so much fun with this couple. We rode the carousel for some different pics, and we walked all around Coolidge Park, finding fun and pretty spots as we went. {The Best of 2011 ~ Portraits}

So, I realize it’s halfway through February and that I’m a tad late on my “best of” posts. But better late than never, right? Well, here goes! I didn’t think it was possible to have even more fun than we did in 2010, but 2011 proved me wrong. Brandon and I met even more amazing families, babies and seniors in ’11 and we were seriously so blessed to create such fun and memorable photos for our new friends. Cindy and Randy got engaged a couple of months ago. They have a super sweet relationship and when you’re with them, you just feel good. It’s love. It’s real. And it’s beautiful. They have a way of accepting each other and putting each other first, which is something that a good marriage certainly needs. During our engagement session, Randy proved over and over again that he would do anything for his bride-to-be by wading in freezing water, driving over rocky roads, and even helping me find great spots for photos.
