For months we anticipated Liz and Richmond’s wedding at the Clark House in Livingston, Tennessee. We had heard how elegant and detail-rich it was going to be, but most of all, as we followed this cutie-patootie couple on social media, we felt like we already knew them. Though we couldn’t meet in person, we chatted over the months leading up to the big day and I fell in love with this girl – a planner like me, who was super forthcoming about her dreams and vision, and we worked through a timeline and shot ideas like a pair of besties.

If you’ve ever met Kylie, chances are you feel like her best friend. She’s so relatable and fun and can instantly join anyone in on the fun. I first met her when we were shooting her twin sister’s wedding and within minutes I just fell in love with her. Now, let’s talk about Adam for a second. Though we had met briefly before, we got the chance to know him through our skype meeting, and we knew pretty quickly that there couldn’t be a more perfect match for Kylie. Like ever. He is witty, smart, and head over heels for this
Alyssa and Jarod have become great friends of ours since last year when we did their engagement session. We have loved getting to know them through the process of photographing and planning their big day. Their September wedding was everything we hoped it would be. A calm and relaxed preparation, a sweet and fun bride and groom, super nice bridal party, awesome family, and topped off with a beautiful blue-sky day. Still some of the most memorable photos of the year right here. We love this couple and all their people. To be honest, we’re sad it’s over. We look forward to more
Katie and Cameron’s wedding was one of the most beautiful days we’ve had all year. Not only was every single person incredibly nice, these two were adorably in love and had obviously waited faithfully for this day for a very long time. Their details were well thought out, their schedule never ran behind (still need to find a trophy to present to them for that!) and their bridal party and family were so incredibly easy to work with. Weather? Beautiful. Venue? Perfection. Vows? Spoken through giggles and tears. And then when they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife,
Aria & Curtis’s wedding day was one of a kind. This couple, so incredibly laid back and relaxed, made their day about THEM and no one else. They did what they wanted, not what anyone said they had to do, and the end result was fantastic. On a hot June day, with the sun shining bright, this couple put together their custom wedding – it was colorful, lively, and football themed. Yep! And they rocked it. Under a goalpost they said their vows while their guests sat in bleachers. Hot dogs, hamburgers and concession food was served while their guests enjoyed
On a perfect November day last year, Amanda and Bryan said “I do” at the breathtaking Two Rivers Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee. Although we knew Amanda from her days of being a bridesmaid in this wedding, we met her groom at their engagement session in the summer. On wedding day, it seemed like all Bryan cared about was Amanda. The gents got dressed as anticipation built and friendly male banter was tossed up for all to hear. The girls were quiet but chattered all about sweet Amanda and her soon to be groom. The location was stunning, and the bright oranges and
James and Vickie are one of those couples who make us remember why we love what we do. They had so much fun at their engagement session, and even though I (Lindsay) had no voice and could hardly speak to help instruct them as to what to do, they rocked the session like superstars. The chose Cherry Creek Nursery and Tree Farm as their location since they have spent so many summer and fall evenings around the place, and it was a perfect October day which worked beautifully! We are so incredibly excited for their wedding in July and eager
Sean and Shelby are some of the most fun people to be around. Their sarcastic playfulness and quick wit makes their company even more memorable. But they truly do have a love and respect for each other that was obvious on their wedding day. On a hot summer day at the Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Tennessee, we spent the day with them as they prepared for becoming husband and wife. With friends and family by their sides, we laughed and watched as they truly enjoyed one another’s company. Take a look at some of the moments that make
Crissy has been a dear friend of mine for a very long time. Since college, I’ve prayed along with her for the right man to come along that is worthy of her hand in marriage. She has been so faithful, so patient in her search for him that she wouldn’t even seriously date anyone who didn’t measure up.. So last year when I heard she was dating a guy, my heart began to well up with excitement and curiosity. When we met him something inside of me just knew – he was so caring, so considerate, and yet so FUN
Jessica and Mark’s wedding day was everything we hoped it would be: a gorgeous and laid back couple; great weather; fun bridal party peeps; a precious ceremony and OMG the dancing! I’m not gonna lie, it was H-O-T outside, but we had a blast capturing this story and this couple who we’ve grown to love. From the moment we stepped inside the church and felt the excitement in the air to the very last goodbye, there was always something around us that was special to this couple. My words can’t do it all justice, so I’ll just show your some photos
